Anemone nemorosa

Height x Spread: 15cm x 30cm

When the foliage of these little gems appears in spring they start to flower almost immediately. They are very good for carpeting a woodland floor, or as ground cover under shrubs.  They will flourish in a soil with plenty of organic matter in the form of leaf litter.

Remember they are summer deciduous (summer dormant) so there will be no sign of them from early summer onwards.  Mark where they are planted, as you will not want to dig them up by mistake.
